My work *is* Black life here and then. My praxis is is guided by spirit and rooted in Black ancestry. There is a slowness and intentional waywardness in my art making processes that creates psychic freedom and experimentation. My mediums of expression are writing, film photography and astrology. My works have been featured and exhibited by: Ashara Ekundayo; Advocate & Gochis Galleries, Joan Hisaoka Healing Arts Gallery, Black Portraiture[s] III - Reinventions: Strains of Histories and Cultures, AcreativeDC, PBS.org, Feminist Artists, Academics, and Activists: Crossing Black Geographies, Matador Network, Historical Society of Washington, D.C., Pleiades Gallery, and East City Art.
I was born and raised in Fort Pierce, FL. I currently resides in Los Angeles.
