Tia's artworks are reflections on essence and being. Her work is guided by spirit and rooted in Black ancestry. There is a slowness and intentional waywardness in her art making processes that creates psychic freedom and experimentation. Her mediums of expression are writing, film photography and astrology. She was born and raised in Fort Pierce, FL. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
