T. Thompson's mediums of expression are writing, film photography, and astrology. Their work is Black life here and then. T.'s praxis reflects what they are most curious and committed to in their livingness, witnessing, and retelling of Black life. They seek to extrapolate the Black quotidian from the enclosures that distort and limit Black narratives. There is a slowness and waywardness in their art-making processes that allows psychic freedom and experimentation.
T. Thompson was born and raised in Fort Pierce, FL. They currently reside in Los Angeles.
